Year 11 Get To Grips with the Local RiverWe took a golden opportunity to show the students, who are currently looking at rivers for their GCSE course, one of our local rivers. We were able to travel down stream from Burrator reservoir, via the Plym, right down to the sea. We looked at all the features along the way and I was impressed to see how much of their classroom learning students were able to relate to the real world.
The trip was supported by Mrs Frude, Mr Alcock and Miss Stanton who were also keen to learn some new facts about the world around us. Well done to all students, I hope it helps with your exam!
