Tennis LeadersOn Wednesday 7th June thirteen Year 10’s were invited to officiate a primary school tennis tournament event held at the life centre. Their role was to watch and umpire all of the tennis matches and then report the scores. In total eight primary schools played a round robin with a semi final and final. This meant that our students had to officiate seven matches each, with some doing more for the semi and final. They were briefed on the rules and scoring system prior to the tournament however with parents and teachers watching there was added pressure on their umpiring skills.
A huge well done and thank you to the students that took part and gave up some of their evening to volunteer for this event, they were a credit to the College and show what excellent young leaders they have become.
