Outdoor and Adventurous ActivitiesWith the sun finally making an appearance, it seemed a shame not to take advantage of the warm weather. With this in mind, outdoor adventurous activities took to Bovisands for a bit of coasteering! This trip was made twice in a week, firstly with our after school club and then secondly with the intervention students. Everyone showed great enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed splashing about in the sea and body surfing the waves! No one seemed phased by the cold water, with everyone jumping in several times!
We have recently purchased a whole new fleet of bikes used predominately for bikeability. However with bikeability completed for the rest of term, it only seemed right to take our new wheels for a spin! Some of our teachers enjoyed a Mountain Bike ride along the drakes trail and then off track to a route used often for mountain bikers. Mr Alcock put Mr Le Marquand, Miss Stewart and Miss Richards through their paces by tackling some very steep hills! They were eventually rewarded in the end with some down hills and everyone made it back to school in one piece! Great effort everyone!
