Extra–Curricular Activities

We place strong emphasis on the role of extra-curricular activities in helping to develop the whole personality of each student. There is a varied programme of activities at lunchtime, and many more clubs and activities after College. Once a year a party goes to Barcelona on a Spanish trip, we also hold regular charity concerts and events.

Our current list of extra-curricular activities is wide and varied, and includes: Fitness, Rugby, Badminton, Basketball, Music, Careers activities, Dance, ICT, Cricket, Soccer, Tennis, Cookery, as well as a wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities which include coasteering, Rock climbing, bog running gorge walking, canoeing, bush craft and camping. There are also subject-related clubs for Key Stage 3 students and revision classes for Key Stage 4 students during 'Session 7' after College.

The College also runs an enrichment week in which students are encouraged to get out of their 'comfort zone' and try something different. A copy of our enrichment week programme can be found here: enrichment week booklet. These include the offer of a number of residential experiences.
