Students' Opinions on our College
"I feel proud to be at this College. The members of staff are really helpful and careful. They helped from my first day at Sir John Hunt and, because it is a Sports College, you play a lot of games to help you get fit at this fantastic College." — Adam (Y7)"The best thing about Sir John Hunt are the lessons. They are interactive and fun. They help you learn stuff that doesn't go in one ear and out the other. It helps stick in your brain because it's fun and you'll remember it." — Mary (Y7)
"My favourite things in the College are the College dinners, PE and Science. I also like the teachers" — Stephen (Y7)
"My favourite thing about the College is the Everest Centre. This is a small group based in the College that, if you find it difficult in mainstream classes, you may get a place in." — Kelly (Y7)
"The best thing about the College are the clubs and activities during, and after College, and the teachers who run them. There's about 100 clubs and the teachers who run them are always joining in, funny and kind." — Jack (Y7)
"Sir John Hunt Community Sports College is a good school to go to because the teachers and students have good attitudes. Also it's a Sports College, so it will encourage you to get fit and healthy." — Amber (Y7)
"Sir John Hunt is where the break dancing kids form Kickstart Dance Group and K2 practice their wicked dances. The Dance Club runs nearly every day at lunchtime in our Drama Studio. Every person in Kickstart and K2 are friendly, supportive and willing to learn any dance." — Adam (Y7)
